The glider has been missing a few surfacings, and at the 1:00 pm surfacing on 30th-June, I got the glider to send a mbd file to check up on it's flight characteristics. I actually send 3 mbd files but two of them are very small files created while the glider was at the surface. I also issued a ctrl-w to see a log of the oddities/warnings/errors.

I missed my chance to issue a ctrl-w. We'll have to do this on the next surfacing.

We have been having troubles getting iridium connections with this glider compared to otn200. In order to increase our chances of getting a connection we decided to increase the time the glider is at the surface trying to connect. It was 7 minutes and we thought to increase it to 10 minutes. We also wanted to increase the nocomms surfacing surface time to 20 minutes from 7min. On 3-July-2013 at the 1:00 pm surfacing we decided update the surfac**.ma files to reflect this. Once we did this we got a mission abort because the surface times we chose were too long. We figured out that there is a maximum time for surfacings (10 minutes) and we set it just under that (9.2) min.
