Glider deployed off of Ingomar, NS. Plan is to run DFO's Brown's Bank line, with a detour to profile the Roseway Basin. OTN200 has been equipped with a VMT to detect acoustically tagged animals.

The SBD list which contains a list of flight parameters that gets sent over iridium during surfacings was updated on Sept 11, 22:16:23 UTC. We updated this because the SBD list did not contain the variables that indicate GPS position (m_gps_lat, m_gps_lon). To update this we had to exit the current mission send a new SBD list, restart the glider, and start a new mission. The new mission began at 22:23:39 UTC. As per Dave Hebert's advice, we cut short the mission and turned the glider back to shore at 0750h ADT, 21 Sept. There were some strong currents offshore and there was a possibility the glider would be swept towards the Gulf of Maine. All waypoints in the go to file except the last three (8-10) were removed and the glider told to go to previous wpt 8. Later in the mission we will probably change the mission again and have the glider pass through Roseway Basin again.

Mission was updated to bring the glider eastward away from strong tidal currents. New waypoints are temporary, mission-related waypoints to follow once we are in more navigable waters.

The mission waypoints were updated again because it was having a hard time reaching its waypoint due to tidal current, and to bring it closer inshore for recovery.
