2014-12-03: Adam, Sue, Brad and Christena deployed the wave glider off the Bay Leader I out of Dingwall, NS. Mission objective to detect acoustically tagged American eels and snow crab. Power left on during transit from Halifax, batteries not at full charge. Attempted to charge on boat, but couldn't draw enough power from power supply. Due to weather window, decided to continue with mission. All tests completed successfully and launch went smoothly.

2014-12-05: Little solar input so battery not charging. Turning off all non-essential sensors (ctd, weather station and wave height sensor).

2014-12-08: Due to strong S currents, minimal battery charge and a brief weather window, we will have to recover DL without continuing to the crab patrol area. Sending DL to recovery location in Aspy Bay.

2014-12-12: Adam, Sue, Brad, Christena and Cailin recovered DL in Aspy Bay (46.88917, -60.38852) from Bay Leader I. Swell led to concern of getting out of Dingwall harbour, but weather improved as day progressed. No issues during recovery. Once on deck found umbilical had two twists and AIS antenna missing.
