The surface interval was changed to every 2 hours and the optical instruments were set to turn on every second yo at 15-Sept-2015 ~21:53 UTC.

Sept 16 09:05: Last nights mission update caused the glider to start heading back to shore. I updated the waypoints this morning and the glider is heading back offshore.

Sept 21 11:19: The gliders waypoints were changed an updated to decrease the overall mission time due to reduced glider speeds.

Sept 23 13:37: Since we've been getting pushed by the currents our speed has decreased quite a bit and we won't be able to run the planned set of waypoints. I sent a new set waypoints to bring the glider home.

Sept 24 15:34: The surface interval was set to change from every 2 hours to every 6 hours to try and improve speed and battery consumption.

Oct 01: The waypoints will be updated next surfacing to set a triangle holding pattern while the weather calms down to wait for recovery.
