Dal556 was deployed on 14-Sept-2015 14:18 UTC at 43 16.1876' N 65 32.9934' W. It's got lithium batteries, a DMON off the nose, an imagenex 853 echosounder and a non-pumped Seabird CTD.

Sept 16 11:05 UTC: I updated the DMON to sample during diving, climbing, hovering and at surface by changing the state_to_sample to 15 in the sample15.ma

Sept 30 11:22: Updating the waypoints to keep it doing it's short transects since you can only have 8 waypoints at a time.

Oct-07: The waypoints were updated to glide around the RATBA_02 station to coincide with the BIONESS sample taken by BIO. The glider will loop through these waypoints until directed otherwise.

Oct-18: The waypoints will be updated next surfacing to have it go through the main roseway waypoints in reverse.

On Oct 18-19, The glider finished its first run through Roseway, and now it's heading back to run through the waypoints again.

The glider dal556 (unit_556) aborted overnight (2015-Nov-03) but now it seems to be working fine. I checked to made sure it was flying fine in lastgasp.mi and could run status.mi succesfully. It appeared to be a computer glitch so I have since restarted its stock.mi mission.
Here is some sample output of the abort:

On the 18th of Nov we started dal556 on its way home. On the 23-24th of November, after it was about halfway back, we started getting pushed around quite a bit by a southward current. I suspect it is an eddy.

DAL556 passed over HFX180 at ~1600UTC on 27 Nov 2015. Hopefully we'll hear the VMT pinging in HFX179 -181.

I'm setting the surface interval to every 4 hours to try and decrease the overhead required to surface more frequently.

2015-11-30 10:39 AST: I changed the dockserver script to only send flight diagnostics. From now on we will stop getting live science and DMON data to shore. All data are still logging on the gliders internal memory and will remain on until recovery.

2015-12-11 00:44 AST. I'm changing the surfacing time to every hour to assist in recovery. Recovery is planned for ~8:30 AST 2015-12-11.
