OTN200 was deployed on 27-Oct-2015 off the Ocean Tracker a few kilometers from Devil's Island. The glider is equipped with a DMON, optode, OCR504, x2 fluorometers, and a pumped CTD. The planned mission has the glider runing to HL4 then some transects through Emerald Basin sampling the science sensors on the upcast and the CTD/optode every 4th yo.

On its way to shore, OTN200 is getting pushed quite a bit by the Scotian current. Because of this we won't be able to recover off of Halifax. We've asked Darin and Duncan aboard the Island Venture II to pick up the glider on the way back from their HFX line trip. The plan is to have the glider recovered on Thursday somewhere outside of St. Margarets Bay.
I am going to shut down the DMON and slow down all the science sensors to every 4th yo to conserve battery power in case it is needed. Note: the DMON will still sample running off of its internal lithium battery.

There is a slight modification in the recovery plans. Due to the strong currents instead of recovering off of St. Margarets Bay, we've sent the glider a waypoint SE of its current position to try and get out of the current and back on the HFX line for pick up by the crew on the Island Venture II
