OTN200 was deployed on 5-April-2016 at 15:15 UTC from the DiveCom by Adam and Sue about 4nm past Devil's Island. The wind was blowing ~15 kts from the N, seas 1-2m. The glider will head roughly to the edge of the Scotian shelf and then return. University Laval glider was deployed for a short test mission at the same time by two UL researchers, Eric and Guislain.

Initially the glider was set to surface every two hours to assess flight. At ~23:50 UTC this interval was changed to every 6 hours. Also, we deployed a bit further South than anticipated, which resulted in the glider traveling North for 1.6 km before turning on its path southward.

2016-04-08 11:45 UTC. We were getting some short "false" inflections, so the minimum altimeter depth was set to 10 m instead of 5.

2016-Apr-19 11:57 UTC, I updated the waypoints to have the glider do another transect to approximately HL4 then back in since we had extra battery energy.

2016-Apr-28 05:26 UTC, I updated the minimum altimeter depth to 5 m, set the surfacing to every two hours and gave it a new set of two waypoints about 3-4 km apart. The glider will bounce between these waypoints until about Friday morning when it is scheduled to be recovered.

2016-Apr-28 23:54 UTC: I updated the waypoints to have the glider come a bit closer to shore for tomorrow's recovery.
