2016-07-27 Wave glider was deployed around 44 32.008N, 63 26.000W from the EastCom by Sue, Kat, Hansen, Danielle and Alois. The glider was deployed with an Ocean Sonics icListen hydrophone for the 2016 Scotian Shelf survey for WHaLE. We ran in-water hydrophone testing for approximately 45 minutes, then recovered the glider and offloaded data from the icListen. Hansen verified some of the audio files. There was some unidentified noise, which we believe could be the unit bumping the lead weight, but overall the data looked good. The glider was re-deployed to begin it's 30 day mission. The glider passed Dalhousie and LRI boat and in-water checks, and we headed back to Armdale around 19:45UTC. Light winds, ~0.5m seas.

2016-09-01: Wave glider recovered by Sue, Richard, Adam, Kat and Hansen on the DiveCom. Brad offered shore support. Glider was a bit further out, but recovered due to loss of rudder comms. Upon recovery saw some corrosion on rudder post, twist in umbilical, and visibility flag shredded. No other visible damage. IcListen present and saw data from all 30+ days on mission.
